I got this bed 3 days ago,im 13 and i share a room with my 20 year old sister. Our room is'nt very big and was very crouded.I have been wanting aloft bed for the past year and half, and my parents said no,i found this one at such a good deal that i decided to get it myself.I have 8 foot celings and there is more than enough space 4 me to sit up on the top.i was able to fit my desk, desk chair, chair, ottom, clothes hamper and a shoe container under my bed.The only down about this bed is the ladder, the poles that u climb on a are a little bit to thin and tend to hurt your feet, but if u get a fluffy pool noodle and put on the bars it will help.the bed doesnt squeek it wobbles a tad but any bed will.i hope u find this helpful and if ur looking for a loft bed u definatly should get this one!

I purchased this for my 7 year-old daughter's birthday, as she had decided she was ready for a 'big girl' room. The loft is great for a kid. There is exactly enough space underneath for her full bed and her nightstand. She's of average height for her age and has about a foot of clearance over her head when she is standing underneath the loft. I will say the loft is high! My three year-old son was not a big fan of climbing on top. He wouldn't come back down on his own because of the height, so I probably wouldn't recommend this for an under 5 year-old. It's pretty sturdy and heavier than I thought it would be. I put it together myself in about two hours, and it wasn't difficult at all. All-in-all, a cute, cheap and fun kid's bed!

Was a little apprehensive to get this bed since it's for my 5 year old daughter. The only beds I could find were either up to the ceiling or too low to put anything under. But I do like this bed. It's very sturdy and the instructions were simple enough to understand to make it a quick assembly. Just have to get some help from someone when putting the sides together so they can hold it. My daughter loves this bed because i can fit her dresser with everything on top of it and a little reading nook under the bed. Awesome space saver! It's a very attractive looking bed and it's sturdy enough to last a long time. I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone!

    • My 10 year old sleeps in it and I've been very pleased so far - minimal movement when he is climbing the ladder, no squeaks. It seems sturdy to me though higher in the air than I thought. I climb on a chair to kiss him goodnight if he is already in bed!

    • Our bed is on tile flooring and it does wiggle a slight bit, but not enough to be a deal breaker. I havent noticed any squeak either. There were some brackets that came with the bed. I dont know if they were for attaching it to a wall, but I didnt see anything that they would be otherwise used for. On a scale of 1-10 I would give the sturdyness an 9. Hope this helps.

    • This bed is very sturdy! Once you get it all put together, go back over all your screws and make sure they're tight. The bed shouldn't make a sound!

    • we have 8 ft ceilings too, enough room for an adult to sit up and still not hit their head on the ceiling, like 6 inches space or more. A comfortable amount of space.

    • We have 8' ceilings as well. My 5' tall daughter has about 4" to 5" of clearance when she sits up. She has to duck a bit when climbing over the rail to go up/down the ladder.

    • The railing height is 71 inches all the way around the bed and at the standard mattress height is 63inches. We have vaulted ceilings, but I would totally see it just fine in an 8 ft ceiling.

    • Our ceiling is 8'3" and my 11 year old can sit up in this bed with plenty of room above her head - not at all claustrophobic or near the ceiling. She's 4'10". I'd say 8' ceilings are fine.
