had the bed a week, went from bunks to this. The only reason we got it is because my son's room is only 8X10 and we needed a place for him to play. The bed is solid, well built, not too heavy yet durable. Very easy to assemble in less then 1 hour, 2 person job! Usually metal beds squeek but not this one! Throughly 100% happy and would recommend for girl or boy, especially one that needs extra space in their room!

It's perfect for what I needed. I'm able to fit my desk underneath along with some other things. The metal it's made out of is a better quality than I expected. It's rugged and well designed. I recommend it at this price. (The only thing I'd suggest... if you're climbing up it in bare feet or socks the rungs can hurt your feet cuz they're not super thick... so what I did was cut up one of those floaty noodles you see in pools and put it on the ladder, and it's perfect!)

I bought this bed for my son who just turned 4. We have another baby on the way and they have to share a room. My son loves his "tree house" bed and does great climbing up and down on his own. It shakes a little while he's climbing, but is very sturdy otherwise. My husband didn't have any problems putting the bed together on his own. There is enough railing above the mattress to keep my son from rolling out of the bed! This bed was the perfect solution for we needed!!

This is a great space saver for any room. We've got two boys sharing a room and they now have much more room to actually play. It did take 3 hours to put together. It wasn't hard, just time consuming and a bunch of pieces. Product is very sturdy, it was worth spending the extra cash to get this one that held 250lbs instead of a cheaper version that didn't hold as much weight. You should have at least 8 ft ceilings, but if you have tall kids you need 9 ft or higher!!! It's hard to make the bed and it's hard to hide the "tuckage" of the sheets and comforter. They hang inbetween the metal rungs and can look tacky but we are thinking of sticking some plywood under the matress to alleviate that! This is made for a twin matress only.

I purchased this bed to free up more space in a a small apartment. I am really happy with my purchase. Assembly took about 3.5 hours and was not really hard except snapping in the little plastic pieces into the rails. Once it was up I could see that it was pretty sturdy. It does not shake much at all. I am actually impressed with the size of this bed for the money ( I got it on sale for 110) It really seems to be of good quality and has ample size underneath. I would reccommend this bed to anyone on a budget.

    • A. Our bed is on tile flooring and it does wiggle a slight bit, but not enough to be a deal breaker. I havent noticed any squeak either. There were some brackets that came with the bed. I dont know if they were for attaching it to a wall, but I didnt see anything that they would be otherwise used for. On a scale of 1-10 I would give the sturdyness an 9. Hope this helps.

    • A. It might be a tight fit. That said, the standard twin mattress we are using has about 2" to 3" of gap between the end of the mattress and the railing (length wise), so that should mean you have about the same gap under it. That should be enough to fit another twin in a regular metal frame under it.
