Rated 2 out of 5 by greatwhite97 excellent for a young child not for a teenager Is better for a younger child. It will not hold a teenager that is 230 lbs without more support underneath. Ladders hurt your feet without putting some padding on the rails. Overall it is a good design to get more space in a room, but will not hold up to 300lbs like it says without more support. Needs to have more stability is a little rickety. 08/13/2012

While you can't expect something of this design to be rock solid, it's pretty sturdy and the only item of the bunch my teenage daughter was able to assemble herself. 08/11/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by jamesnbellasmommy Perfect if you need extra space! Bought this bed for my 4yr old son. We have limited space, especially with a new baby on the way. He was sleeping in his crib that we converted into a toddler bed, so we got him this so we can convert it back to a crib for the new baby. I absolutely love that this has a large empty space under it! We can put the crib and a shelf underneath it because it's so roomy! Putting it together was a little frustrating, (as is anything you assemble from Walmart), due to very vague instructions. Took about 2 to 2.5 hours to assemble. Mine doen't squeak or make noise like the other reviews say. Very sturdy also. My only complaint it the ladder rungs do hurt my feet, although they don't bother my son at all. Overall, I am extremely satisfied! 08/07/2012
