I bought this headset after trying out Sony's official Playstation Bluetooth headset. This Turtle Beach headset fits comfortably over my ears. The sound quality seems fine to me, though I know nothing of high definition sound. My favorite aspect of the headset is the separate voice chat and game volume controls. I can mute my television and play with sound without disturbing my roommate. I can also turn up the chat volume when it gets hard to hear my friends online etc. Two problems with the headset. The first is that for no apparent reason the headset causes the top of my head to hurt a slight bit after a long period of play (2+ hours). I simply adjust the headset on my head to alleviate the problem. Second, I get some ghost noise or static feedback for a second or two at random times. It isn't inconvenient, but it does suggest poorer quality in the headset's construction. All things considered, I am quite happy with the headset and am glad to have switched from wireless to this USB headset.

-the mic is nice and flexible -the wires can be a little annoying to deal with -pretty simple to set up -nicely surrounds your ears -can make your ears sore if not worn properly -the sound is good for headset

Bought the headset as a gift for my 14 yr old nephew. Says the sound is excellent and he really loved them. He's on his PS3 with his friends often and they were exactly what he wanted.

Okay, first I just want to say that this is a really great microphone. I have had it for 1 day so I dont know much Pro's and Con's, but this is what I have so far. Pros: 50 Millimeter Speackers that can go over your ears and still room for if your ears grow. Really great mic and you can hear yourself when you talk. You control how loud the backgroun music is/ how loud the people talk. But I am warning you now that this mic canreally hurt your ears if it is turned up all the way. My friends and family mimbers have mics that were like over $100.00 and this mic is just over $50 and it is better then their mic. Cons: Big pain in the butt when it comes to the wires when you first open it and when you use it. (That may be just me though# You sound like you are at a higher pitched voice and I know that because one of my friends on the mic said in these exact words " You sound like you are 4 years younger than you really are" and of course he knows my real age. So you might want to make some changes on the Mic Settings on the home page. That is all for the pros and cons but 2 more things. This is the P11 mic. The P11 mic works on the PS3 ONLY!!!!! If you want a XBox 360/XBox mic, you will want a X11. But if you have both systems and if you want 1 mic, I would recomend the PX21 for the PS3 and XBox 360 at the same time. And if you have a PS3 and if you have Playstation Network #PSN), if you want, you can add me as a friend and say "I read your review on walmart.com". I hoped this helped you. If it did not, I dont know what to say. Just look at other reviews.

    • A. The PS3 doesn't have any headsets that connect to the controller (that's the XBOX that does that). This headset connects to your PS3 _AND_ your TV and nothing more. The cord is probably about 10-12 feet long.

    • A. Since the sound comes from the PS3 console, you would plug the headset into the PS3. It's a USB port, so you plug it into the front or the back of the PS3. You don't have to move the PS3 to do this. If you have the P11, look at the booklet, or search it online.
