The ports on my computer were broken, so I was unable to plug in any speakers. I bought this to bypass the problem. The device plugs into the USB port and you plug your speakers (and/or microphone) into the device. It works perfectly, and was a lot less difficult than buying a new sound card and having to open up my computer tower to replace it. Very handy, no drivers needed, you just plug and go! 08/13/2010

Perfect. I was having problems with the plugs for my computer. I purchased this....This cannot be anymore perfect. I can use my mic now thanks to this...Will definitely buy some more Turtle Beach products. 06/13/2011
