My husband and I bought this ottoman to replace our oversized, round coffee table in our living room, because it took up too much space, and we wanted something more sleek... this fit the bill. We couldn't believe the price, we were looking at used ottomans on craigslist that were being sold for $200 that weren't close to this beautiful piece. It is a bit light weight, which is actually a pro when I'm vaccuming because I can move it easily. It's really soft, and doubles as seating when we have company, my husband says the padding feels like memory foam, its very soft. The faux leather does not look faux to us, and the dark color is beautiful. Overall a great buy, the only quam we even had before we bought it was that it is not a storage ottoman, which is what we wanted originally, but I really liked the look of this one better than the storage ottoman for sale on walmarts website.
