The Tropical Coffee Table Abaca Small Astor is a luxurious coffee table built from solid mahogany wrapped with hand-woven abaca fibers. The abaca has been twisted in the weaving process to produce an interesting texture, and to increase its durability. It is a variety of earthtone colors that play together and against the darker mahogany to produce a brilliant contrast. The table top also opens to reveal a large storage space ideal for blankets, books, and any other knickknacks you might have lying around.
What is Rattan? Rattan is presently the largest source used in the creation of wicker furniture. A climbing vine, it is native to the tropical rain forests of Southeast Asia. Rattan is a solid core vine, which makes it ideal for use in making sturdy furniture. Care and maintenance is easy, requiring mild soap and water and dusting off. Rattan provides a beautiful, nature-inspired look in a variety of furniture pieces.
