Tripp Lite's 6" USB 2.0 port liberator allows connection of a cell phone/smartphone to your laptop computer for charging and syncing while creating a second port for other peripheral connections, such as a printer, external mouse, etc. Plug the U030-06N-HUB into your laptop's USB port and your 5-pin, Mini-B phone port into the Mini-B Male pigtail cable. A second female "A" port is now created for attaching other USB peripherals, such as a printer, USB external mouse, etc.
