Tripp Lite's 6' PVC, SVGA/VGA Compact monitor replacement cable, features a 40 percent reduced diameter cable, smaller molded connectors, and built-in 3.5mm stereo plugs, for extending audio as well as video. The mini-coax (RGB) and paired video wire construction delivers superior video signal quality, up to 2048 x 1536. Nickel-plated connectors and gold plated copper contacts ensure excellent conductivity. Double shielding (foil and braid) provides maximum EMI/RFI protection. Both high-density DB15 male connectors are molded and have integral strain relief to ensure long life.

Excellent cable to connect from Laptop to HDTV I was really struggling to find a good cable which can connect from my laptop which has VGA out to my brand new LG LED HDTV. I looked everywhere and checked in lots of stores but lot of people told me to buy some sort of converter which converts signal from VGA to HD. It was costing me between $60 to $100 and still not guarantee it will work.Then one of friend sugggested me this cable and it made a wonder. I just ordered online through Walmart. I just plugged cable to my laptop and then to TV and it was perfect match. Great picture. It was full HD and no compromise with picture quality. Its plug and play cable and doesn't need any installation. It has audio cable combined in in the same cable which makes life much easier.Please make sure your laptop has VGA out and your TV has RGB PC IN and Audion in. My TV model is LG5500 and it worked perfectly alright. I would definately recommand this cable if you don't have HDMI out in your laptop and VGA is the only option. 01/24/2012
Functions great... The Tripp Lite 6' SVGA/VGA Compact RGB Coax Monitor Cable with Audio functions great. I have used it to connect my laptop to my big screen lcd tv and stream vidoes and movies from the internet. It allows you to use your tv screen as your pc monitor. 01/06/2012
