Makes a small kitchen work My daughter got an apartment with only two small kitchen counter areas. One side had a plug and the other didn't but there was a plug up high on another wall. This stand allowed her to clear counter tops and have space on the wooden shelf for her microwave near the other plug. She liked the white to match her country kitchen. It is narrower than most units, but holds a lot of odds and ends without looking cluttered. It came in a couple of days and took maybe one or two hours to put together by myself. I put one shelf on upside down with the wires up instead of down. Whoops! Have to fix later. Sturdy and attractive. Holds a lot. She says qt bottles have to placed carefully in the wine rack cause it is a little too deep. Otherwise, she is thrilled and says it is essential to make her kitchen functional. Top can be removed easily to move in a car. A nice birthday gift for her! 08/18/2011

Get out the hacksaw... This baker's rack was not square...it did not align properly, and we had to saw through the welding on one of the rods so that the pieces would join and be able to be screwed together. We would have returned it, but we needed it immediately, and we were trying to make it work. Once assembled, we were pleased with it's size and appearance, but the assembly process left a bad taste in our mouths. 01/15/2010
