Customer Product Reviews

Rated 3.3 out of 5★ by 10reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Best iPhone Case on the market I purchased my 1st LifeProof Case at the Apple store in the Promenade in June of 2012. I had it for 14 months before it started to fall apart. I contacted life proof and asked for a warranty replacement. They honored it without asking any questions, only requesting that I return my old one within 14 days. They paid for the shipping of my new one and the return of my old one. As long as you follow the directions in the beginning and not continuously remove your phone from the case: you shouldn't have any issues with it. I am notorious for dropping my phone, I've even gotten it wet. My infant plays her apps on my iPhone all of the time. She drops it, throws it, gets her drinks and food all over it. LifeProof truly is the best protective iPhone case out there. It's totally worth the $80 and the security of knowing that LifeProof will honor the warranty for it. I purchased my new iPhone 5S and recently upgraded my LifeProof case. Now I feel more at ease and I'm totally looking forward to the protection that comes with it.****Things to remember if you do purchase the Life Proof case:1. Follow all instructions to the T in the beginning2. Save your receipt, make a copy too (You will need this information for any warranty replacements#.3. Jot down or take pictures of the serial numbers on the inside of both the front & back covers of the LifeProof case #You will need this information for any warranty replacements as well).4. Do not take your phone out of the case ever, unless it is absolutely positively necessary.Good Luck y'all!!! 09/20/2013
Rated 3 out of 5★ by Waterproof HAHAHA, riiiight. Rinsed mine underneath water to get the dust off of the case. Water got inside the case. Case was only two days old at the time, I am very disappointed. Case is nice in the fact that it's very much slimmer then the Otterbox.. but I question it's durability and shock absorbency. I got this case because I work in industrial bakery, and there's flour everywhere. The case does an awesome job sealing it off against dust... but NOT water. I wouldn't suggest using it in the water, whatsoever. 03/07/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Yes, its waterproof First thing the instructions say to do is submerge for 60 minutes to test the seals; don't put your phone in it if it fails. I would NOT suggest rinsing the screen under a hard stream of water either, because that pressure will exceed its waterproof rating. I've gotten mine wet several times, in heavy rain and totally submerged in a sink and no leaks. I wouldn't swim in it though, its not a scuba suit. 05/21/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by I have used in pool and ocean. Took video. Never leaked. You must follow directions. Sounds like some don't. I am buying for my entire family. 07/27/2013
Rated 2 out of 5★ by Loose screen. Lightning port cover broke. Pretty expensive to have the screen cover be loose. It is really bothersome while typing or just when using my iPhone in general. Then the cover for the lightning port broke. Returned it. 03/19/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Lifeproof case I have had the case for 6 months. It has survived drops in the toliet and the ocean. I drop it all the time. I did get a crack in the case from dropping it. I contacted lifeproof and they sent me a new case with in 3 days. Great customer service and nice to see a company willing to stand by their product. 11/24/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Worst phone case on the market After spending close to $120 for both the case and belt clip, and reading the review on the LifeProof website, I could not have been more disappointed. Constant complaints from callers on the clarity and volume during calls, ring tone volume very low (to the point of not being able to hear it at all), and after one week the snap clip that seals the charging port are broke. The only good thing I can say about the case is that it's thin and light, but somehow I think over time that even that would not be positive due to durability issues. My rating would have been all 0's, but 1 is the lowest allowed.Search online and read reviews on sites other than LifeProof, my issues are well documented by other consumers.Luckily Walmart's return policy allowed me to get a full refund, with which I bought an OtterBox Defender (which includes a belt clip), and pocketed the extra $60.00. 07/14/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Looks cheap, feels cheap. Don't buy it!!! So I bought this case for my iPhone 5 tonight. Wanted something that had more protection than my current case, but not as bulky as an Otterbox or Survivor case. The case is conveniently thin, but... That is the only good thing about it. It looks cheap, it feels cheap. It's a pain to take off. Volume quality when trying to make a call or simply listen to music is terrible when the case is on. Definitely not worth $80. I'm returning it tomorrow. I'll just have to deal with the bulkiness of an Otterbox. Never had problems with them when I had an iPhone 4. 09/14/2013
