I really shopped around for a cart that could be used to carry a 50lb backpack. Some reviews for more expensive carts told about problems with collapsing the cart and cheap wheels and handle problems. then I found this one and the price was so good I almost didn't consider buying it but I really studied the picture and thought I'd give it a shot. Wow! This thing works great! The wheels are fine, it collapses very easily. It comes with bungees that work great and carries the load with no problem at all. This was a great deal. It fits easily in a locker. I can collapse it with the backpack still on it and toss it in the car. The handle is comfortable and it rolls quietly and easily.

I bought this because I was traveling internationally with my 2 year old and 8 year old, I attached the carseat for my 2 year old to it and it was perfect! Studry, easy to navigate. It was a scinch wheeling him around at the airport and easily stowed away in the plane!

Used to take Sunshine Radian car seat and a Graco Safeseat on one cart on a roundtrip involving 4 flight segments. The Radian sat on the cart and was held with the cord that comes with the cart. I hung the Graco from the cart's handle. This way I was able to take both of these heavy car seats through the airports and into the flights. The cart is narrow enough to roll through the aircraft aisles, but the car seat needs to be narrow too to pass through the aisle. The Radian was narrow enough to roll through the aisle. The cart folds down very small to go under the seat in front of you.

After 18 years my original cart just gave out and I needed another. I couldn't find one at Staples, nor the other office supply stores, where I bought my first so I logged onto Wal-Mart.com. I found this one and couldn't believe the price. It looked good and sturdy in the pictures and it certainly was a good price, $8.00 less than I paid for my first at Staples, back in 1992. My first was chrome and this one was black enamel but who cares! It was for carring my duffel bag that I take to work each day. It arrived in just 3 days and I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. This cart is very sturdyand made of heavy guage tubing, folds easily and is compact when stored. You even get a nice bungee cord to secure bags to the cart. The only thing wrong with this cart is the handle could be longer but then I'm very tall so...... I'm very pleased with this cart and will (already have!) recommended this to my co-workers. It's a darn good little folding cart and you certainly can't beat the price anywhere! If this one lasts me another 18 years then it's costing me less than a dollar per year. If you need one buy it here. You'll be pleasantly surprised like I was.

    • A. Would be great for that. Depending on flexibility of the rice bag, you may want to place a board at the platform to prevent bulging below. There is about a 3 1/2 inch. clearance before the floor. So I would think that this would be a great choice for moving rice bags.

    • A. If you are asking about thje TravelKart folding cart style 200WB, it is rated at 70lbs. If your package is a little larger than the cart's frame you may have to work at balancing, but I have managed larger packages nicely with this cart.

    • A. This is a "light duty" cart and I don't think it'll be acceptable for your intended use. You could stand a bag up on the cart and it'd probably work but 2 bags at once? No Way! Buy a regular "hand truck" and you can haul as many as you can lift.

    • A. It has bungee cords that are tied at the bottom and can loop up over the cargo and clip to the middle of the back handle. I use a large backpack and it straps it in with no problem. The bungees are very stretchy so you can wrap small or large cargo easily.

I see 1 user stated they used it to transport a car seat. How did you strap the car seat onto the cart and was it easy to maneuver through the aircraft aisle to your seat? Is the cart easy to fold up to pass through security?

    • A. Strap bungee through carseat belt straps if infant car seat then to bars at top. or if booster carseat use seat belt openings to upper part of side bars. As far as moving through aircraft aisles, it really depends on the width of your carseat. This cart is perfectly narrow enough to easily move through aircraft aisles.

    • A. Place the car seat onto the cart like you would put it into a car. The bungy cords will stretch over the body of the seat vertically and up to the handle. You would need to fold up the cart and carry both it and the carseat once on the place. The carseat may be too bulky to be walked through the aisle. It is VERY easy to fold up the cart for going through security.

    • A. Cart comes with cord to strap to hold the car seat. Cart is narrow enough to go through aircraft aisles. The cart is narrower than your car seat. So it is the car seat that you need to be worried about regarding going through the aisle. If it doesn't fit then you will have to carry the car seat in your hand through the aircraft. Cart folds down very small. Smaller than the what you might perceive from the photos. No problem going through security. Fits easily under aircraft seat in front of you.

    • A. I didn't haul a car seat, but I did put a small case and a backpack on it and bring it through the aisle of an airplane. It fit fine. Very easy to fold up to get through security.

    • A. well you have to secure the carseat to the back of the cart with pullies. the cart comes with one also the straps from the carseat can help reinforce it. You do have to disassemble it when you go through security but aside from that it was perfect to maneuver my son around the airport. and the cart folds up nice and flat! I think the isle of the airplane might be too narrow for the car seat but you can take it apart right before you get in and you should be fine.

    • A. worked great for a car seat. the cart comes with bungee cords, when moved them from the vertical to the horizontal and wrapped around the main part of the car seat. car seat and cart will not fit through security scanner so you must take it off the cart and put it back on. also the cart fits through plane aisles but with the car seat it is too wide. so I took the car seat off and carried down the jet way, easy to do even with a britax car seat

    • A. I placed a front facing car seat (not an infant car seat) on the platform and then set a booster seat with back on top of it. I then attached the bungee cord to the side of the handle and wrapped around the car seats. It maneuvered easily through the airport. I can fold it in less than 15 seconds (but I removed the bungee cord, so it wouldn't get stuck in the scanner).
