Megatron is one of the simpler leader class figures to transform, much more so than the Optimus Prime of the same class. There does seem to be a sticking point while trying to attach one of his legs to the body in his alt mode, not a big deterent though. He looks good in robot mode as long as you can look past his left arm... 06/30/2009
Complicated but Cool This was a Christmas gift for my 4 1/2 year old, who is a HUGE Transformers fan. It is a very cool looking toy, and the detail is impressive. However, it is a very complicated toy to transform. Granted, its intended age group is well over 4 years, but my husband and I both had a very difficult time figuring it out, and we still haven't been able to fully transform it. (I guess you need to be a 10-yr-old to figure it out) None of that seems to bother my son, though...he has a great time just pushing the button for the sound effects and "pretend playing" with it. All-in-all, it is a cool toy, but a little "advanced". It is also a little pricey (as all the Transformer toys are), but it will get played with...a lot! 01/05/2010

frustrating My nine yr old son used all of his birthday money to buy this megatron and it was very hard to transform, even for a 48 yr old man. It is complicated, with complicated instructions and it is very stiff and hard to transform. On the third day a plastic piece broke off.It was very dissapointing and a waste of $50. 06/11/2009
