I ended up buying in several colors, they are functional and they are beautiful.  I wish i got an orange one before they sold out. Great price $39. Its solid, heavy and good size. I’ve made no knead cranberry bread, enchiladas , beef stew, and came out amazing. I used it at 450 degrees and I cracked the knob during my first use. I was able to replace the knob and now I never go above 400 degrees. Works great, will definitely buy again once the orange is back in stock! Highly recommended

Great buy

This is the best deal I could find on one this size. Truly does compare to the high-dollar ones, works just as well. I saw where some reviewers don't like the plastic knob, but it says it's good for u to 300 degrees, so I don't have a problem with it. The beautiful red color even makes the food look prettier.

I love it!

I live this for my sour dough bread. It heats evenly and cooks it to a golden brown. I haven’t tried it for soups or stews yet but I will very soon.

Love my new cast iron dutch oven,i wish could've order some more while they're on black friday sale,as good as it is i'm willing to pay for the full price but this item is out of stock(sad face)i am looking forward to get another color for it is now in my kitchen collection lists:)

Red pot

Oh fer gosh sakes, I can't believe how awesome this is!  It's beautiful, huge, and heavy/sturdy!  My primary concern was that I can safely use it on my ceramic top stove.  And indeed I can!  I love you, Walmart!

I bought this as a dedicated bread making dutch oven.  I did this because I read that putting the room temperature bread straight into a 450 degree dutch oven could cause it to crack.  I've used this for 6 months now.  I bake bread at least once a week.  In addition to that, I've used it as a deep fryer too!  It has held up beautifully and I feel like it doesn't perform very differently from my Le Crueset.  Plus, I feel better about using and abusing it.  It can handle anything you throw at it.

I use it more than my Le Crueset for Crusty Bread

Amazing pot beautiful but came slightly damaged and it's a hassle to go through an exchange so I'm just going to keep it so not completely happy .

This Dutch oven sits higher up. The knob can't handle the higher heat. I bought it to make sourdough bread. I heard popping and my kitchen started smelling like something was burning. It was the handle. It made a mess in my oven. Even with lowering the rack and a lower temp, the handle was such a problem. I did order a new knob, and that helped. (Pictured is the new knob replacement) Prior to buying another knob, I decided to invest in a much higher-end Dutch oven and it is so much better! The rise in my sourdough in the higher end Dutch oven is much better than this one. Put your money towards a higher end brand. It's worth it!
