Bought online (picked up at store). Replace 1/2" reversable electric drill I had for almost 20 years that had finally given out. When I opened the new drill package, I immediately saw scratches on the drill case. I plugged in and started, it made a strange grinding sound. I actually think this was a returned item that was cleaned up and resold. The store told me that I'd have to order online to get another so, just spent a few dollars more, went to a reputable store and got a NEW, DEPENDABLE drill.I have just about gotten to the point, with all the hassles I get at Walmart (problem items, items not in stock and having to go to other retailers to get what I couldn't at Walmart) that I'd rather pay the few extra dollars or catch on sale at other retailers, get what I need, know they will have in stock, and just drop Walmart all together. 03/08/2012
Broke after 1 minute of use! This drill broke after only a minute of use. I drilled an one-eight inch pilot hole with masonary bit in seconds! I was amazed! Then I put in the one-quarter inch bit and the drill stopped working. It started turning on and off by itself and then wouldn't turn off. I had to pull the plug. Now it won't work at all. I'm pretty sure the electronics in the trigger on/off is defective. And there was something rattling inside the drill, when I got it. 03/20/2012
Sweet Drill I modify guitars and needed a good drill to drill through some metal. This baby did it with ease. I also used it to drill through a brick to install wire for a servalance camera out side. Good cheap drill, everyone should buy one for around the house small progects. 10/02/2011
