Excellent phone for the price This is my third tracfone. I bought it because it was difficult for me to text on my previous tracfone. Yes, at my age I do text. You have to program your numbers from the old phone to the new one. It is not done automatically. Transferring the minutes from my old phone to the new phone was not a good experience. I tried to do it on line but that did not work. I had to call and, unfortunately, I had a difficult time understanding the person on the other end of the phone. There are many, many numbers you have to insert in the phone.. I would still recommend this phone. I do not want a monthly bill for a cell phone and that's the reason I use tracfone. It covers all the areas where I place calls. 12/06/2011
