It is small but holds a lot of books and works perfect for the lighter weight books that we have. I like that it doesn't take up a lot of room. We have so many books that it seemed that we were not enjoying all of them like we should. I use the rack to put of the seasonal and themed books. The kids are now able to see the variety of books that they have. They are actually reading more. 01/14/2009
