Toshiba Camileo X100 HD 1080p Camcorder, 10x Optical Zoom, 3" Touch Screen, 4GB Internal Flash Memory 3.7 5 80 92
It' just ok My number one complaint is the video camera has horrible color rendition. Almost unacceptable. That's why I have given this camera one star. Battery life isn't real good either. Otherwise, it appears to be an ok camera for the price. Ya git what ya pay for. 08/27/2011
Excelent quality for the price Surpising quality and features for $150. For some reason the slow motion feature doesn't work. All you get is a blurry picture in slow motion. As it was not why I bought the camera, I can live with it.We have a high quality 55" LG HiDef set and the videos and pictures are spectacular on the large screen.I would and have recomended this camera to anyone.Amazon has a package from Butterfly Photo with two batteries, a universal charger, and a few other items for under $30.The last digital camcorder we had was a JVC that used a digital tape and cost over $1,000. 07/26/2011
audio barely audible Returning mine. Hoping for the best, but disappointed.I'd have it 12" from my face & speak in a normal voice & when played back either through the camera, connected to the tv via hdmi or copying the file to a pc, the audio was barely audible.Tried recording a birthday party. 20 people indoors singing happy birthday...very low playback sound. Video was acceptable though. Not recommended. 08/21/2011
you get what you pay for The package deal is a pretty good deal. The camera alone sells for more than this package deal. The bag is small but does the job if you keep all the cords at home. The camera is decent at best. Takes a while to focus on the subject at times, zoom is pretty good and the camera (if set at 16mp) is OK. It takes pretty good video if you are at close range. The digital zoom (in any camera) is not recommended unless you are using a tripod, but expect the video clarity to be reduced. The battery life is OK if you are not recording in HD. I took about five minutes of video in 1080i HD on a full battery....after the five minutes was done I had one third of my battery left. This is a good camera for someone looking to capture a family event or something like that without high quality results. The menu is easy to get to and the touch screen makes it even easier. It is a basic video camera that shoots decent video. The camera is very fancy as far as looks. However, the chrome like finish picks up a ton of finger prints and makes it look like you took video after eating macaroni and cheese with your hands. For the budget minded person it will do the job. It does come with a remote which is a huge plus. You can switch between camera and video camera as well as zoom in and out without the camera shake. 02/06/2012
