Toshiba Camileo S20 ***** This camcorder was a Bday present for my mom.I did a lot of research online/store as I wanted an HD camcorder with some quality but @ the same time under $200.00. And was I surprised to see how expensive these things are (HD). So when i saw this Toshiba, i knew that it was just what i needed. Is it leaving up to the expectations ??? yes* yes*yes* we love it. Is easy to use, great picture, great stability, great sound, great picture taking and yes i can live with the battery life ;) .My mom takes this camcorder everywhere... and because the picture quality is SO good, we dont use the regular camara as much. 09/01/2010
In love Didn't get from this website but doesn't matter it's the same price wherever you go...I am a huge Toshiba fan...my TV my Laptop and now my camcorder is Toshiba...yea Toshiba laptops have minor issues but nothing you couldn't handle...anywway about this product...If you are shopping for a fair valued camcorder Toshiba is ur brand...however the two that I would suggest would be the Camelio S20 for the above price and the Camelio X100 for another bill thirty... The Camelio H30 can fool you with the nifty price and trendy looks but compared to the other two it's not worth 100 bucks(poor sound and pic quality once uploaded) anyhoo the S20 however is a great package price...I say package because not only do you receive the cam but I also recvd a 8g mem card, tripod, case, charger, and sham lense cleaner what a steal(don't know if that pack comes in the wally world package but for the same price toshiba direct does) The sound quality is amazing the first night I was testing it out around the house you can hear my stereo in the bathroom on the top level of my 3 floor townhouse....and if you have anything from a 480-1080p tv laptop the pic quality is awesome...I love this purchase oh and for all of you quick vid heads out there the best feature to me is the pre record option...say you see something coming you know u wanna get on camera...there is a pre record button that records 3-5 seconds for u so u won't miss a thing!!!awesome awesome product u cant go wrong with the two i mentioned above... 08/14/2010
Well done Toshiba What's not to like? If I had to complain about any thing it would be that the compactness and the beautiful smooth finish make it a little hard for my artheritic hands to hold on to. Pretty pety! The fit and finish of this little jewel puts it in the Rolls Royce class. Not enough, it must take good pictuers, right? In this department it is unequaled. At this time all of my pictuers have been shot in the 5 Megapixl setting. The only reason to go the 16 meg setting ould be to waist memory space. The pictuers are sharp and clear and the color is outstanding. As for the video it is as good or better that that of the pictures.Again just useing the middle resolution give a VERY sharp picture and great color. Even my best deicated video camcorder does not do as well. Than you throw in the special effets like stop action, slow motion, and the shoot when detecting motion, featurs and it's all good. Yes I would recomend one for everyone. It would be nice to have an opticle zoom be then that would just add to the size and so far uneeded. 07/25/2010
Good for what it is, on the go video This is super small which is great and takes good outdoor video. The indoor video is not that great so I returned it. I think this is good as a supplemental camcorder but not as your only one. If you want something that easily fits in your pocket for outdoor video, this is good. 07/07/2010
