    • A. It is very easy to connect to a wireless router. You do have to buy the USB cord that connects to your TV separately. Just a few clicks on the remote and your connected and it has a button on the remote that directly connects you to Netflix.

    • A. Not only does it connect to Netflix, there is a Netflix button on the remote. Instant, easy. You just have to activate it once from your computer. It receives wireless FROM your router, or it can connect to an Ethernet line from your cable modem, but you can't send Ethernet into the DVD, then back out to your router, if that's what you're asking.

    • A. When connecting this to your tv you should use and HDMI cable, provided you have a hi-def tv caple of 1080P. This cable will give you the best Picture possible and also supplies audio as well. So 1 cable replaces multi cables of the past.

    • A. No, you must either use HDMI or composite (yellow RCA which is not HD) cable. The ethernet connector is to connect to the internet and other media devices, not the TV.

    • A. The player is connected to the TV via an HDMI cable. The ethernet port would be used for internet connection if you chose not to use the built-in wi-fi.

Seems to work fine, although a bit balky in the menus at times, a little patience and it goes. Movies look and sound stunning as expected. Internet content works great. The connections description is incorrect, this unit does NOT have an optical digital audio output, it is coaxial like the vast majority of BD players. If you need optical, get a Xantech CPLCT converter.

I love this Blue Ray Player. The remote is laid out great. It is very fast at loading Netflix and haven't gotten stuck yet during download. Pausing it, fast forward and rewinding is very fast from a streaming movie from Netflix. Great product!!

The Blu-ray player is my first of the type. It has played every disc we have tried. It looks great with the 73" Mitsubishi TV. It does get stuck in some of the internet connections; this might be caused by using wireless instead of wired internet. I had to tell it my wireless was hidden and then push the button on the router so it could be found by the player. Once found it appears to be fine other than the problems backing out of 2 different internet providers. I have only used it for a week but am very happy with it.

If you like Netfilx then this is a decent choice at a good value. This was $78 which was a good price for a Blu Ray player with WiFi built in. It works just fine with the in-home Wireless Lynksys G Network Router. Plays Youtube very well. Blu Ray pictures seem to be OK but we're not that fussy about tech. The remote control is challenging. It has to be accurately pointed and pressed. To search or browse a text pop-up lets you select letters and numbers but it's really sensitive. I tend to overshoot which gets annoying after awhile. Plays Vudu, Netflix, Pandora, Blockbuster, music services, and Youtube. I had hoped that I could use it to play music from Youtube but browsing and searching is a pain. We're back to connecting the laptop to the TV. Since we don't rent movies all that much, this will most likely become another dust collector. Netflix doesn't have enough of interest.

No component video jacks. The remote won't work unless it is aimed directly at the unit. Huge delays in responding to remote commands. Built in wifi is sub par and takes forever to connect to wireless router. All around failure of a dvd player.
