Rated 3 out of 5 by SouthTexasDriver Disappointing This is the third TomTom device I have owned, I have purchased progressively better and more expensive units. I also use a Garmin Nuvi along with my TomTom. I like the Altitude feature on the Garmin and TomTom's speed limit database is poor with missing speed limits and incorrect speed limits.I purchased the TomTom Go Live 1535 because the Go Live 2535 does not seem to be available. My expectations were / are that with a more expensive device I should have more features. Well, my TomTom XXL 450T had a compass and would display the direction I was traveling in degrees. My 1535 does not have that feature. The "T" feature uses transmissions in urban areas and it was dependable. At first I had trouble with the traffic feature on my 1535 but recently it has predicted traffic delays deep in rural countryside where the Garmin and XXL devices did not have signals. Sometimes there are delays getting the traffic feature to receive a signal but when it works it works well.All in all, I would rather have kept my XXL - for the price. I have been very disappointed with my 1535. I am depending more and more on my Garmin to make up for the missing features and errors of the 1535. The primary reason I do not solely depend on my Garmin is that the map zooms in and out depending on your speed and distance to next turn and I can never get a sense of relative distance to my next turn. 10/30/2012
