Rated 5 out of 5 by LoverOfGoodBooks On par with Kenyon's writing, enjoyable, lovable Overall is on par with Kenyon's style of writing. The story further delved into a new branch of mythology, Cherokee, instead of usual Greek mythology though still referenced Greek. The heroine was different from Kenyon's basic heroine in a subtle way, she was still corky, witty, smart, strong willed and lovable. The hero was more on par with Kenyon's basic hero but leaned more into unique in a way that Acheron does. She story line was engaging and true to Mayan mythology at the same time. To be honest, and slightly girlie, one part of the book had my crying hysterically, not just teared up at an emotional part but literally blubbering. It was different story yet stayed true to the Dark Hunters that we fans have grown to love so much. Recommended to any true fan. Enjoy, (I think you will). 09/06/2012
