Ruined my clothes!

I bought this product hoping that it would help "boost" cleaning my laundry but in fact, it made it even worse. After a few uses, I realized there was white residue all over my dark clothes, especially my black dress pants. I thought maybe something was left behind in one of the pockets or in the washer since I share the laundry with other tenants in my building. However, I soon realized that it was the Tide Pacs that were causing the problem. I'm really frustrated because now I can't get the stains out of my clothes. I've spent numerous mornings scrubbing my work pants trying to get out the stains but as soon as I put them back into the washing machine, they end up with the same residue again. I've searched through the washing machine to try and find any leftover pieces of the Pacs but I haven't had any luck. I am really frustrated and I'm not sure how to fix this problem even though I've stopped using the Pacs. I really hope that Tide figures out a solution before other consumers' clothes are ruined.

This product works! I was suprisingly amazed at the first time I ever used it on all of my laundry. My whites came out whiter using Tide Stain Release, and I have used the oxygen cleaning products before this. There are a few things I would recommend though: 1)It says right on the package that if your laundry is a larger load or more dirty to use more product, like 2 of the little packets instead of just one. 2)If you use it to pre-treat stains, make sure you put it on and then within a few minutes of that putting it into the washing machine. If you don't it can fade your clothing, unfortunatly I learned that the hard way. 3)I still pretreat some of the ground in stains and the red tomato stains with a different product, it just seems to work better. But the good news is, if you don't and it doesn't get the red tomato stains out, pretreat it with the stain release and it has come out for me. I've done this more than once. THANK YOU TIDE STAIN RELEASE!!!!!!

One night after work I came home and made spaghetti for dinner, I was in a hurry so I didn't change before hand. I made dinner and completely forgot that I was wearing a WHITE blouse, my two year old had no problem making it an orange splattered shirt! I threw it in the laundry room praying I could get the stain out. The next day not thinking I washed the shirt regularly. It wasn't until I took it out of the dryer that my heart sank. Not only did I wash it and the stain did not come out but now I had dried it! So I immediately turned around and grabbed my bottle of stain release, well it was almost gone, I barely had a drip left! I turned the bottle upside down and let it drop on my shirt on the stain hoping for something to come out. I got enough out of the bottle to put on the stain and then used the spout :-) to try to "work it in". Much to my AMAZEMENT, the stain was out before I EVER DROPPED THE SHIRT BACK INTO THE WASHER!!!!!! I was so excited I sought out the website to post this comment. DEDICATED USER FOR LIFE!!!!

My son recently got married and we had a wedding reception for him and his bride. For the reception, we purchased new white tablecloths for the tables, not thinking about the rigatoni and meatballs and red punch we had planned for part of the meal. We had a wonderful, busy reception weekend and it wasn't until Tuesday that I got around to doing the laundry. I looked at the tablecloths and saw many spaghetti sauce and red punch stains. I thought that they were ruined and had already started thinking about how the stains could be covered up for the next use of the tablecloths. Then I remembered the Tide Stain Release Tablets and Spray I had gotten and kept for this very day. I sprayed all of the spots I could see on each tablecloth, put them in the washer, added a Tide Stain Release Tablet alomg with some Tide liquid detergent and started the wash cycle. Was I surprised when I pulled out tablecloth after tablecloth and they were white again with no telltale stains! Unbelievable! Tide Stain Release became a must have for my laundry room that day.

I work as a Mechanic. I do my own laundry and successfully stain treat my own clothes twice a week. I used this new Tide product in this fashion. I filled my machine with hot water used two caps full plus one of my Tide laundry soap. I let my machine start its cylce and mix the soap. I added my dirty laundry a let it cycle into the soap mix for 2 minutes and then I let it soak for 3 hours. Then I drained the machine and started over in the same fashion except for I let it complete the heavy wash cycle this time. Well I had to run those clothes through 3 more times treated the way that I normally get stuff out on the first try, and some of my pants are never coming clean. This was a 12 dollar waste. I thought that I would be able to skip the lengthy process of stain spray treating. Nope. Waste of time and money here. If your normal soap won't get it out this stuff won't either. Heed my warning!!!! Save your money!!!!
