There were a few parts missing (valve stem cap and tightening screw to hold brake lever in place). Luckily, I had some extras and corrected the problem. strike one. Then, the handlebars keep going out of whack - there is ONLY an Allen key to tighten them at the center of the stem. Srike two. THEN, the plastic petal stripped and fell off! I take responsibility for that, 'maybe' I cross-threaded it when I installed the petal onto the crank. I went ahead and scewed the petal back in - and felt the metal shavings coming out the back. I'm wondering how long that quick fix will last ... NOW, the intertube on the rear tire keeps going flat at the stem. I'll need to replace the tube and this time, it'll be filled with some green slime. I am also going to fill the front tube, as a precautionary measure.Bottom line: this is a $100 Wal Mart bike, for sure. There are better options - but you get what you pay for!!! 09/16/2012
    Rated 5 out of 5 by great buy I bought this mainly for the frame and lightweight. I stripped it down to just the frame and added my own tires and flatbar, zero brakes. Took off the decals and chainguard. I put the tires and handlebars on another frame and sold that bike on craigslist as an urban fixie for $150 in less than 24 hours, believe it or not it was the bright color tires that attracted them. I have zero to complain about and I've taken apart 20 bikes. This is lightweight and fast. I am 6/4, 250 and it flys. The pedal, seat and crank are all fine, don't know why anybody who spent $100 on a bike would have a beef with any of them. I ordered another for my GF who is 5/11, 130 and will strip that one down as well. Good buy. 04/24/2012
