wasnt expecting perfection, and yes i found "A" mosquito(JUST ONE literally) to attack us near it on average after using it several nights. Beats the swarms we normally found here in FL in the yard. able to eat on the back patio, which is about the size of the covered area. for what it says it does, it really worked well. also had the same success towards flies too. that was a nice bonus. very happy with it. like the smell and wasnt strong. was a great buy for its job

works as well as expected

Looks nice in my little yard. I like how it's stationary and don't have to move with me.  Probably could use a couple more posted in opposite areas.  Thank you for this product.

Excellent. Well thought out features /functions. Great quality. Instructions need improvement though regarding opening it.... mine must have been different model....instructions didn't seem to apply.

These torches are very easy to assemble and operate! I bought two to outline the patio. Just before sunset I turn on the butane, remove the top cover, check if a new pad is needed & turn it on prior to mosquitoes landing on me. The effect covers my entire patio perfectly (haven't been bit yet). After dark, I simply touch the buttons to turn on the lights which create a nice ambiance and not too bright. After spending too much money on the citronella versions, this is cleaner and easier to deal with. When I'm finished for the evening, I just twist off the butane portion, put the lids back on & lock them. The lids are great, as they protect the mats if it rains (unlike the citronella versions, where they get diluted). This is certainly worth the purchase!

Perfect Tiki Torches

We spend a lot of time in our patio.  And nothing is worse than mosquitoes invading your space.  We tried citronella candles, spraying the yards and perimeter and fans.
Nothing worked the way the Thermacell Patio and Table Torch does. I have three around the patio and a 4th one on a poll to use when we are having a party and need more protection out in the yard.

Works great and high quality.

I use it often since I purchased and the butane doesn't always give me twelve hours. It works well enough, I don't have to put bug spray on or a fogger in the yard.

Quick buRn

I've had this torch for a couple of years and while the light & repellent features are great, I keep threatening to toss it in the trash every time I take it camping. The battery compartment is in the base but the base does not securely fasten to the torch so you are basically balancing it and hoping for the best. The pieces of the pole also fall apart very easily. This past weekend, I found the battery holder on the ground at our campsite, it having just fallen out while I was packing up. Great concept, terrible execution.

I bought 2 of the thermacell  torches that comes with tall poles. I was super excited to try them as I had recently tried the original canister thermacell... well needless to say the first use I was a lil sad because the light didn't work in one but I figured no big deal it'll still repel, I went to use it for a second time now the other one won't light to repel which disheartened me so much! I wanted to love these and tried to get past the first issue to only be met by another. I am sure if you get working torches it will work nicely for you but unfortunately I now have to buy 2 more torches to replace the ones I already bought in just 2 uses.
