I watched Angela on Nashville Star, love her voice, and was thrilled that she won. Ever since, I've been looking for her CD so I was glad to find this. However, I was hoping for more original material or at least more original takes...almost the whole CD consists of covers and a few are re-hashes from the show. Not that that's bad...I just had high expectations for her. As they say, she "could sing the phone book" and it'd be good, but I think she's someone with a special talent - a good singing voice and an amazing depth of soul (it always seemed to me that she's the "real deal," has "lived it," and was something you don't see enough anymore...classic, old school, genuine country) - who could really shine if she was given the chance to do her own thing.

Really liked Angela on Nashville Start previous season. I hope to see her next CD soon. She is too good to not have another CD out there.

Angela got my vote every week on Nashville Star and I was so pleased when she won. I waited anxiously for her debut CD and heard nothing about it in South Central Virginia. I finally went online last week to get some information on when it would be/was released, and was upset to see that it had been released months before! I purchased this CD immediately and I've listened to it 5 times (6th time playing now)! An excellent songwriter, I am absolutely crazy about "Love Me Wild", "You Got Me", "Emotionless" and "Total Loss"; "Hard To Handle" really isn't my type of music, but the latter showed how well Angela and Zac perform together. I also greatly enjoyed her renditions of "Strawberry Wine" and "When Will I Be Loved." Probably my favorite of those she didn't write was "Do Right Woman Do Right Man" and least favorite was the slow drag of Barbara Mandrell's "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool". Her vocal range and adaptation to different types of music is outstanding and I can't wait to get more of her music! Congrats, Angela!! Keep 'em comin', girl!!!!

Angela Hacker is AWESOME!! This is really great CD. Some oldies you will recognize and some of her new songs. I love the last one that she did with her brother Zach Hacker - and my favorite is the one she wrote on Nashville Star "Total Loss". It is a true "country" song. You wont regret buying this CD!

I gave this CD to my husband for Valentines Day. We both voted for her on Nashville Star and have been looking for the CD to come out. The music is great and we both love it. If you listen to it, you will too.

I was not a bit disappointed in the quality of Angela Hacker's debut CD! Living in a small town and only having access to one C/W radio station, which features and plays just the top C/W artists, I never get to hear Angela. Having her CD now is a treat! One song is sure to be a hit, if she's getting the deserved air time --- "Total Loss". I also love the duo with Zac!

She is great and so is her brother. Why is there nothing new out there by either of them. They were the winners of Nashville Star LAST YEAR and still no CD's out there by them
