I have read the Compendium Volume 1 cover to cover multiple times while waiting for Volume 2 to come out and I was not disappointed. It also arrived several days before it was scheduled to arrive which was an even better surprise. Any fan of The Walking Dead should have this! 01/22/2013

For fans or new fans alike, who were not there in the beginning , the series is now on it's 105th issue . this is the easiest and cheapest way to catch up or start. Mint Issue's of # 1 have sold for over 1000.00 dollars and key issues are spiking too. When I say cheap this is absolutley the best price. You will find them for 48/50 bucks in any comic book store /evan B&K. I was thrilled to buy these at the price listed. If you have a Walking dead fan, either the tv series or comics , you cant go wrong considering these as a gift. Like I said both volumes bring you to issue 94 (i think) that is the complete series before the latest storyline "fear" was started ,ramping up to the 100th issue.Here is one last thing to consider, if you own the individual issues , thier value increases everyday! As long as they stay NM/M . Having these to read , will cut down on handling and wear and tear and keep your collection in top condition.You can just break out the Compendiums when you want to referrence or re-read an issue or storyline. One of the coolest gifts out there for a Walking dead fan... Unless you can afford a Daryl action figure Ha! 12/15/2012
