Yes, I wouldn't quite call it a board book, but yes all the pages are hard. ( great for an infant who tries to chew on everything).

Yes the pages are hard and also of different sizes. Very easy to turn pages for toddlers.

It does have hard pages. I would consider this book as a board book. I just recently purchased this as a gift and it was exactly what I wanted.

My child was a huge Eric Carle fan, so she had many of his very durable, board books. They are full of engaging illustrations, juicy vocabulary, and predictable text. The Hungry Caterpillar can be read together with your baby and as "paired reading" with your emergent reader in kindergarten! Pair the book with plush or rubbery pretend food items to "name, squeeze, & chew," it becomes the perfect gift for little ones! I bought 3; inexpensive, quality gifts for Christmas this year.

The book is a hard back- including the pages as well. It has a smooth gloss on it, with curved edges. Theres little interatives throughout it such as holes where the catipllar has eaten the leaf. Its a fun book for the little ones!

Fun, Little Interactive Book

This is a childhood classic!  Every kid should have a copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Exposure to repition, sight words and a glimpse of science in the the transformation.

Great for toddlers

Started watching my grandson he's 22 months and loves reading and the hungry. Caterpillar  is one of his favorite so wanted to have one at my house got it the next day

This book is perfect.  It fits right into my purse and you can take it anywhere to keep your child entertained. The illustrations are beautiful.

The binding of this book was creased if it had been red many times not brand new as described. bought as a gift how embarrassing

I used curb side pick up because I was in a rush. 
All of the items that were pick and handed to me were damaged. 
I had to go in and repurchase the items and return the damaged goods. 
20 minutes to repurchase the goods and 30 minutes waiting in line to return the items that YOU damaged.
