Rated 5 out of 5 by spunglass Since this was a gift for my mother it was exactly what she had been asking for. The color being red went with the rest of the kitchen as it is red and white. And the area in which it was going to go it fit in the spot well. And even though it runs by battery, the only time she will have to change the time on it is when the time changes or if the battery starts to go dead. She had been complaining that every time the power went out she was having to change the clock in the kitchen. So I believe this clock fits all of my mother's requirements. 01/09/2012

However, the upper left hand side is not finished properly; it looks as though the paint touched something before it dried. It doesn't show because of where it is on the wall but it is a defect. I haven't had it long enough to know how accurately and how long it will work but I love the way it looks. 04/06/2011
