According to Duhigg (investigative reporter, New York Times), if people can understand how behaviors became habits, they can restructure those patterns in more constructive ways. He presents information on habit formation and change from academic studies, interviews with scientists and executives, and research conducted in dozens of companies. Three sections deal with the neurology of habit formation in individuals, the habits of successful companies and organizations, and the habits of societies and tough ethical issues. Charles DuHigg tells you how to overcome challenges you may have and put them on automatic! My local library has a copy, it had 47 holds on it. That tells you the popularity of this book. Everyone should own this treasure. 05/31/2012

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Every living person should know this information I heard an interview with the author on National Public Radio and the book sounded like something that would be a great resource. Having read some of it I am very glad I purchased it. We all have brains and if you wish to remain alive It’s a great idea to learn more on how habits (good and bad) run our lives and how to reprogram the bad ones. 02/21/2013
