From filmmaker Sam Raimi ("Spider-Man", "Army of Darkness") and acclaimed Japanese director Takashi Shimizu comes a terrifying tale of horror in the tradition of "The Ring" and "28 Days Later". Sarah Michelle Gellar (TV's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer") stars as an American nurse who has come to work in Tokyo. Following a series of horrifying and mysterious deaths, she encounters the vengeful supernatural spirit that possesses its victims, claims their souls, then passes its curse to another person in a spreading chain of horror. Now, she must find a way to break this supernatural spell or become the next victim of an ancient evil that never dies, but forever lives to kill.

It shows you how there can be curses in other countrys and when you visit them you don't know what you are getting into when you visit these countrys. Shara michelle geller did a good job in this movie and i would recommend this movie to anyone who likes scary movies. this is not a movie for children to watch especially with all the blood and gore in this movie. 06/14/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by OnlyMyKids I love this movie This is a great thriller, although it does get a lot of mixed reviews. I like how creepy it feels, and love the Japanese grudge girl, she is so spooky. I don't really think it is scary though because I feel bad for the girl and so can't really be afraid of her.She looks the part, but once you find out her story, it is hard not to feel sorry for her. Still a great watch though and would scare those who are easily skiddish,(like my little sister) 07/28/2011
