    EXCELLENT Product

When I first was looking for a pump I was very skiddish about spending my money because I didn't want to spend it on something that didn't work. Especially since you can't return a breast pump and I don't have money to just throw away on something that won't work. So I went ahead and tried this one and it works GREAT. Works fast for me. Nothing to complain about in my opinion. The suction is something that my mom was worried about because sometimes the suction isn't real good. But I feel like it is for this one. All I can really say is that this is a GREAT pump especially since it's not a hundred dollars or more like most.

The week my daughter was born we were having trouble nursing and I needed something to pump with until we had success. The MiPump was cheap and I figured I would only need it occasionally until we had it down. 2 1/2 weeks later my little one still isnt nursing and im using the pump fulltime, every 3 hours. I am SO thankful I bought the MiPump. Its small and sleek, can run on batteries, I get a good amount everytime and it isnt painful. With my first I had the medela and it hurt! This one is WELL worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone! You cant get this good of quality for this kind of price with any other pump. I cant say enough about it!

I wanted an electric pump, since my experience with a manual was not very pleasant. This pump is great, its very compact, quiet, & efficient. Has a smooth let down and the variable speeds are great too. I used it after I had my baby to get my supply to come in & it worked wonders. Would recommend to anyone!

I need to buy an electric breast pump , but i need it to be maximum $60 and to be a good brand so i can use it for 1 year , 4 times per day. And if it's good can i store it for the next babe or it will be used only for one baby
    by Romita 1/3/2011
    • I was worried about this being a good pump. I haven't had a problem with it. And it is being used a second time with my 2nd baby.

    • I use this about 8 times a day and have had no problems. I believe it would last for another child.

    • I wouldn't plan on using this more than a few weeks. I have used mine daily for 2.5 weeks to take milk to the NICU, and the motor is already dying. I would look at other brands.

    • The motor on this will not last being used that long and that frequent. BUT, if you call you can get replacement parts for free. If I had called at the first sign of an issue, I probably would have gotten the replacement motor before mine stopped working, but I waited too long and now I'm stuck without a pump. I've ordered a new one (by Avent) and the replacement parts for this one so I can have a back up. You might want to look into renting a pump. It would cost more tha $60 all together, but it would be a monthly payment. You could ask your doctor for information, or the hospital where you had the baby. Good luck!

    • ....I have not heard good reviews about the MiPump....but, if you are on a budget, the Playtex - Petite Double Electric Breast Pump is OK...I used it before I got my Avent pump and it was adequate. You just need to be careful when taking it started to crack a little and that is why I replaced it...

I noticed on the listing for the double electric pump it says that it includes an adapter so you can pump directly into ANY bottle... but it doesn't say that on this one. Does the single electric also have this?
    by LiseesMommy 9/16/2011
    • No bottle adapter that I found in my system. I would pour into milk storage bags at work and freeze. While at home, I used similac bottles. These bottles I found replicate the natural shape of the breast, so the infant continues to breastfeed properly without having latching problems switching from bottles during the day while in child care to the breast in the morning and evenings.

    • It comes with a 4oz bottle. It can pump into any Firstyears bottle only.

    • I don't think so. It comes with a bottle to pump into (around 6 oz if filled to the brim). It has a wide mouth so it is not able to use with any bottle. I used this pump and had many problems with it. Luckily they had great service. I ended up going through 3 until I found one that would last more than a few weeks. I wouldn't recommend this pump.

    • No it doesn't. I purchased this one a week ago and no longer use it due to many issues.

i am wondering if i should buy an extra diaper bag or if this one will be big enough for all my essentials?
    by mommieofboyz 6/10/2010
    • The bag this pump comes with is definitely not big enough for anything other than your pump. You will need to purchase an additional diaper bag for all babies essentials.

    • This bag would not be big enough for all of my essentials on a regular basis. I have a 3 yr. old and a 1 month old. Hope this helps.

    • its not a huge bag its like a large purse i guess. you can fit all of the pump stuff and probably some diapers and wipes, might be able to fit a swadling blanket in also. i could always check for sure but it would also depend how youd want it filled or orginized.

    • If you are going someplace for less than 4hrs, you should be able to fit what you need in it. Any longer than that, you will need a diaper bag. I can fit 2additional bottles, 4 size 1 or 2 diapers, folding changing pad, small wipes container, small powder, & small desitin with all the pump parts.

    • Depends on how much stuff you want to carry :) It works good for just diapers wipes and a small changing pad, but I like to carry lots of stuff like extra clothes, first aid kit, etc. so it is not big enough. If we are just going to the store, I take this as the diaper bag, but for day trips I have a bigger one.
