disappointed with 1 feature I bought this particular monitor only because of Skype feature, otherwise I'd buy cheaper one of different brand. Everything works nice except for the Skype connection. I fallowed the instructions, everything was ok till i disconnected parent unit from my pc , my saved settings were gone plus the video resolution was not correct and there is no way to change it on Skype. Even with parent unit connected to my pc i wasn't able to see the image on my screen. I contacted Skype, they told me to speak with the manufacturer. I contacted manufacturer, they told me to speak with people from Skype. One blames another for the my "unable to connect" issue. So as of today and plenty attempts to get set up this unit with Skype, i'm not able to use the Skype feature,probably never will. Maybe the fact that this video system instructions were developed for Skype version 4.0.32, mine is 5. something.Plus the software that came along in the package didn't install properly on my pc, I had to go to first years web site to download it.I like the unit, but I'm disappointed with that Skype thing. I might return it.I'd recommend this, but be aware of possibility of software and connection issues. 10/13/2011
Works great! The sound is clear and very sensitive. The camera is good, the panning is only if its in zoom though. It works out considering where I have put it over our crib. It was very easy to figure out. The only thing I might change is that at night the camera had actual little lights on it. Over all it is very worth the money. You get a lot in this little package for the money. :) 08/28/2011
I got this for my son because he is in the navy and deployed long intervals. The skype feature was a plus. my daughter in law loves it so far. picture is clear zoom is nice as well. technology has advanced so far. 10/16/2011
