This product has a high splash guard that cannot be removed by the child. This is very helpful for a mom of a boy that likes to take things apart.

This seat is great. My newly turned 2 year old son does very well with it. We already had one but when he would urinate it would go everywhere, which was not fun. But with this seat he can urinate and no one gets hurt! Also sometimes when he is on the seat I cant tell if he really went or not, and he always says he did, so all I have to do is look at the inside of the gaurd to see if there is any evidence of him going. This helps me keep up with our progress. The only complaint would be that the seat moves around too much. It does come with sticky things to put on it to be more stable but that is not real practical when you have others using the same toilet who are not potty training....

I potty trained my son with this seat. He loves it because the cars design He actually went straight to the toilet and put it on top so he has never use the other potty as a Mommy I like it because it contains the mess and is easy to clean. The advantage of my son is that he is a little bit taller so he can reach the toilet with the help of the step but he is been potty trained since he was 26 months THANK YOU for this Cars toilet seat.

    • A. It comes off really easy you just have to remove the padding and then remove the protector I use it all the time now so he won't make a mess.

    • A. Protector cup does come off, but it can only come off if you first unsnap soft seat from hard plastic seat. Child cannot remove while sitting on toilet!! Believe me I have had this problem with other seats, but not with this one.

    • A. You have to attach the shield when you are putting it together. But everything kind of snaps into place so it's harder for them to take it off. My son likes to play with the top of the shield while he sits there and hasn't been able to get it off, yet. Hope this helps

I'm looking for a good travel seat. Will this fit into a diaper bag or is it to bulky. We have to travel several times a week about 30 minutes away. Have you tried it on public toliets?

    • A. you could use this as a travel one but has to go on toilets that are not enlongated they work on circular round seats on toilets but it would be bulky to put into a diaper bag though cause its bigger than it looks on your computer

    • A. It would fit in a good-sized diaper bag but may stick out of the top. The cushy part of the seat is not attached to the bottom plastic part so it's more "two pieces." This is probably for ease of cleaning purposes but can't say for sure. Have not tried on public toilets but seems like it would work just fine.

    • A. This would be too big for a diaper bag, unless you have a really huge one. They do sell toilet seats that fit in the diaper bag, but I haven't bought one. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mommys-Helper-Cushie-Travel-Potty-Seat/10088173

    • A. This seat is way too big to fit in a diaper bag. I would suggest a fold up potty seat such as Mommy's Helper Folding Padded Potty Seat $9.99 at Toy's R US By: Mommys Helper Or you can also buy the Potty Toppers - 10 Count in different styles for $5.99.

    • A. I think this is too bulky for travel, at least in a diaper bag. Unless, that is about the only thing you are going to put in there. They do sell travel ones, which I did purchase, but I don't like it. It isn't big enough or sturdy enough.

My son is scared of "falling" into the toilet, so if this product does not stay securely on toilet, it would make training much harder.

    • A. The seat is made for standard style toilets only. I have both elongated and standard. I tried it on both. It shifted so much I didn't feel confident in it myself. I didn't even bother trying to get my grandson to try it. Just returned it. It was so narrow underneath it didn't meet the inside of the toilet rim, so it was very loose fitting.
