It's hard to explain Oblivion's depth, charm and immersion level in just a few sentences. The game is *huge*; I'm 20 hours in and I've just scratched the surface. And it's not a grind; it is a diverse world with people who have actual schedules (they actually lock their doors and close their shops at night... how unique!) and will act differently towards you depending upon your reputation, friends, enemies and your public actions.

Really, you can't go wrong with this game for $20 or so. I anticipate over 100 hours of use... that's $0.20 an hour or so. Buy it; you won't regret it.

Amazing depth for &lt; $20

ive played elder scrolls:Morrowind and loved it! just when i thought that game was the best oblivion came out and made everything a thousand times better! ive never seen graphics this intense and the game itself is massive and very complex. they went into extreme detail when making this game, theyve thought of everything, npc and character interaction was designed perfectly, just when u think theyve figured out how to make everything perfect in this game you find something new and exciting that makes it so much better.

Best RPG

This might be one of the greatest games I think. Very fun gameplay, and lots of achievments on the 360. Lots of downloadable content (without GOTY edition). Only problems are some of the quests can bug, and the Thieves Guild and some Dark Brotherhood quests can be tricky, unless you're cunning, or use the internet.

Awesome Game

This game can be played over and over again. It has many side quests as well as the main quest, which you can pop in and out of as you go through the game. You can customize the look of your charactor almost without limit. The story line is good enough to be made into a movie at some point, (hint). The expansion pack increases this games value and playability...9 out of 10 for me.

Lots of options

My brother got this game a year ago and let me play it while he was at work. I started playing and got hooked its an awesome game there are a couple glitches, and its froze on me once or twice (just save often the game is worth it), but the graphics are cool, I love how you can look at mountains way out there and then go and actually clime them its unreal. But what really got me was that you could CHOSE who you wanted to be, not just one way or the other. Now I'm buying a xbox 360 just for this game...well that and fable 2 another great rpg if thats what your into :P

Best role playing game yet!!

This is one of the best game's out on the 360 in my opinion. It is a very fun,very deep game. The game will draw you in with all it's attention to detail and keep you there with all of the content this game has to offer. You can choose 1 of a number of different races to be each having it's own pro's and con's. Create and become an extension of yourself. You almost begin to feel as if you are the character you created.

The only bad thing I can say about this product is that it DOES NOT come with the shivering isles expansion pack. However, there is the game of the year addition to resolve that issue. Overall very, very good game. Would definetly recommend to someone looking for a good game for their 360.

Great Game

Heres the thing the game is great (no doubt about it) but one of the things i was mad about is the fact that it can be kind of stupid, for example how in God's name do they send special information about you (how you look etc...) all over Cryodil (you kill in one town flee and go to another you get gangged-up by like 20 gaurds)? But the other great things crush the bad, you can create your own poison to dispatch of your enemy and you can create your own potions to save your life! You can choose to be good and be with the empire, or you can choose to be bad and side with evil cults (Brotherhood Of Darkness)! You can be a mage, an archer, a warrior, a rouge, anything you want! The amount of things you can do with magic is just beyond jaw-dropping. First-person sword fighting makes for an awesome fight so you can see the enemy move then you can strike him when he is weak! Use telekinesis to throw an object to the side distracting your oponent for when you are trying to sneak past them! Rob a house! Become a vampire! Go on mystical journies! Steal a horse! Close Oblivion gates! Kill Deamons! Use multiple was to outsmart your foe! Enchant your sword, bow, daggar, staff, axe, club, and mace! Become a master theif! Become a renowned wizzard! Make yourself the strongest warrior that ever lived! Rebell against all people! BECOME THE GREATEST THING THAT EVER WAS!

OH YEA!

I played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind on XBOX and could never get into it. The open-ended gameplay gave me so much to do and so little dirction that I never knew what to actually DO in the game. Oblivion's updated Quest Log and Active Quest features give you more direction and map markers, while still letting you play the game how YOU want to play it. I have over 150 hours logged and haven't even touched the main quest.

Great game

Oblivion is an exceelent RPG. The game world is huge and offers tons of area to explore. If you have a 360, this game should be in your collection.

Get lost in the World of Oblivion!

I bought this game a while ago, and it worked for about a day. Then it says it's unreadable. I check my other games to see if it's not the system, and they work fine. I take the game back, get a new one, and try it again. Same thing happens, it worked for a day, and then it's unreadable. Doesn't make much sense to make a game if the system can't read it. Overall, a poor product.
