Customer Product Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5★ by 2reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent I started reading this book since I'm a great fan of the movies...but first to make things clear this is not like the movie, after finishing reading the book I can say that the both of them are very good but the movie shares only a few things in common with the book. I believe that the movie should be called in a different way than the book, because is a total different story (some common shares are the Bourne's amnesia, besides the book was written about 20 years ago). If you are a Bourne fan this is a must read. I have already started the second book, and looks very good. 01/29/2012
Rated 2 out of 5★ by Don't let the Cover fool you I love the Bourne (movie) series, and I also love to read.. I figured, I would love this book just as much, if not more, than I love the movies... I couldn't have been more wrong. I have never read anything by Robert Ludlum before, and I honestly did not know that this book was published before the 90s. Though the movie might have been based off of the book, the movie is way more modernized. I could not get into the flow of the book and the character of Jason Bourne is completely different than what I expected... I stopped reading half way through the first book because I just could not get into it... I then read other reviews on the book and found out I was not the only one with this opinion. In anycase, if you love the movies, don't expect the same action packed punch from the book... Instead, expect plenty of talking and plenty of thinking as you try to put two and two together... And don't worry about feeling frustrated to the point of stopping, you aren't the only one. 06/22/2011
