"The 300 Spartans": Based on actual events occurring in 480 B.C. Greece, this scintillating drama stars Richard Egan as the Greek soldier Leonidas, who led 300 Spartan soldiers against an overwhelming Persian army in the Battle of Thermopylae. Unable to recruit the soldiers he needs to defend a critical Greek mountain pass against Persia's King Xerxes, Leonidas nonetheless prepares for battle. When warned that the number of arrows his tiny army faces will "blot out the sun," Leonides replies that his army will "fight in the shade." With its superb cinematography realism and musical score, this story of courage and self-sacrifice is inspired filmmaking at its best. "The Mark Of Zorro": Don Diego Vega is summoned home from his elite training corps in Spain to California, where he finds his father deposed and the people living in tyranny. Disguised as Zorro, a sword-wielding mystery man dressed in black, he works to restore his father to power and return the tax money stolen by the villains. He even finds time to romance the ruling tyrant's beautiful niece. "Bandolero!": It's a Wild West clash of personalities in Val Verde, Texas for the warring Bishop brothers, who must now join forces to escape a death sentence. "Quigley Down Under": Arriving in Australia with nothing more than a saddle and his prized six-foot Sharps rifle, American sharpshooter Matthew Quigley thinks he's been hired to kill off wild dogs. But when he realizes, instead, that his mission is murder - to "eliminate" the Aborigines from a wealthy cattle baron's land - Quigley refuses and quickly turns from hunter to hunted.
