    What more can you want for so little $$ I'm buying my second one, my first one lasted over eight years. Bought my first one before I started college and now I'm an engineer and use it a couple of times a week. It does all basic math functions, trig in degrees/radians, plus 1 and 2 variable statistical calculations. Most professors allow it's use on tests (unlike many graphing calcs). Scientific, engineerng and floating notation. Has more than one memory slot (five). Has 2-line 10 digit display and gives you backspace, insert and other nice functions so you don't have to "start over" when entering long problems. Solar with battery back-up when there isn't enough light. Overall exceptional calculator for about 15 dollars. What more can you ask for? 01/07/2008
    Good Buy I found the Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS Scientific Calculator, that I recently purchased for my son, to be a really good buy. It gets thebasic job done, including calculations needed for pre-Algebra/BasicAlgebra. And the calculator's operation guide provides instructions forits use that are fairly easy to follow! 09/01/2007
