- Easybalance Should Not Be Used In Aquariums With Low Oxygen Conditions; Proper Aeration Using An Airstone Is Strongly Recommended. Shake Well Before Using. The Top of The Supplied Screw Cap Can Be Used For Measuring. Fill to The Inner Ring Line (5Ml Or 1 Tsp) to Treat 5 Gallons. Use A Full Cap (10Ml) For 10 Gallons. Repeat Dosage Weekly. Change 50-75% of Your Aquarium's Water At Least Once Every 6 Months, Provided Easybalance Has Been Added As Recommended and The Aquarium Is Otherwise Properly Maintained.

Excellent Product to Help Keep Your Tank in Check I have used this product for the past 4 weeks(ever since I purchased my 5 1/2 gallon aquarium kit from my local Wal*Mart) and it works great! Tetra recommends using this and SafeStart when setting up a new aquarium to help stabilize the general water chemistry and start the tank's biological cycle sooner. It also helps to cut down on the overall number of water changes, which is nice not to have to worry about when you have about a million other things to do each week! Just be sure to shake the bottle very well before treating the water weekly, as the Nitraban(Nitrate Reduction Granules) quickly settle to the bottom of the bottle. I was able to add fish within a week of setting up the aquarium and I did not have the ammonia in the aquarium go higher than .50 ppm. Once the ammonia did top out at .50 ppm, it quickly fell back to 0 ppm-all within a week! This product makes fish-keeping a lot easier!!! 10/30/2010
