After searching countless stores my option were to buy a 4x6 rug, much too small, or spend at least $100 on a stuffy looking 5x8 rug. But then I looked here and found this rug where I could get the 8x10 for right around $100 including tax. Perfect! I ordered the rug and it arrived at my local Walmart in exactly one week (free shipping!)As for the rug's features:Even though I read the reviews before ordering this rug, the rug still ended up being MUCH darker than I expected. It's not white or ivory at all, it's much more of a darker cream or light yellowy color. Or perhaps it's just the lighting in this room...As for texture, the rug is not plush by anymeans. But neither is it scratchy. It is simply just soft. I originally purchased rug cushions to go underneath it (my dorm room floor is hard linoleum) but I didn't feel that the cushions made enough of a difference to justify their cost.Overall, though, I like the rug. It saves me from the cold hard dorm room floor. I would recommend this rug, but only with the rollback price. I think that for the regular price, there are many other softer rugs out there, even at Walmart. So unless you KNOW you want it, I'd wait around for the rollback price. 08/29/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by SLMBCS Grey and Yellow From the picture, this rug looks black and white (maybe off-white), but it is actually grey, black and yellowish-white. From a distance it looks nice, but not up close. My only warning is beware of the colors. 08/20/2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by trishod123 nice rug Okay Let me preface this with it is an 8x10 $100. rug. It is thin, the background color is creme not white. the fleur de lis are dk. grey and black. That being said-free shipping and it has resisted quite a few stains so far. It does need to be vacuumed every other day but we are serious mess makers in our house. It is traditional yet trendy and it really makes the colors on the wall perk up. Plus when we get sick of it we can just get rid of it-it was that cheap. LOVE IT!!! 07/29/2010
