We live in the country and don't have good reception for my son's favorite radio stations so I bought this in hopes that it would help. It did help a little but the stations still had too much static to enjoy listening to. I went back to using the wire antenna that came with the stereo

I had a "rabbit ear" set and thought I would try this since it does look better than the rabbit ears.
It will not pull in stations anywhere like the rabbit ear type but it does work pretty good for nearby stations.

This antenna works well in certain areas of the house. It did not perform well where I needed it. Picked up a standard fm wire antenna and it worked where I needed it.

I ordered this for work where we have poor FM signals inside the building. Unfortunately it didn't help.............all it amplified was the noise in the spectrum. We finally moved the receiver near a window and it had more signals to choose from - enough to keep us happy.
PS - I also tried it in my basement where the FM signal strength varies greatly and it did not help there either.
