No. This lasted less than 1 week. Left LCD digit quit working.

You can&#39;t. You can&#39;t start it all over either.

Press the hr and minute buttons at the same time...it will go back to 000.

Seems to work fine. How can I turn off the power? Only way I see is to remove battery. Kinda stupid. No instructions.

I don't know what you mean by alarm. It is a Timer and beeps after the specified time. For less than $6 it seemed like a good deal, but it died within 2 days. I am happy with a Presto of similar price that I purchased from Amazon. Sorry.

Great for the price

I purchased this to attach to my quadcopter remote control.
I tried using a timer on my cell phone but it was too awkward and this timer is tiny enough to attach to the remote.

It tells me how long I have been airborne so I can bring it back before the battery dies.

The blinking minute and second labels were annoying so I put small pieces of electrical tape over them.   Minus one star.

The alarm is not very loud but I do not depend on it.

Used to time quadcopter flights

The beep is slightly quiet, but I can hear it in the living room from the kitchen. Counts up and down, nice feature and hangs quietly on the fridge. Nice and slim.

Magnet Timer

Timer works very well but there are three things that would have kept me from buying this timer. 1) Too small and easily lost on the counter, in a drawer, or in a cabinet. 2) Too quiet, the alarm is not very loud and very hard to hear. 3) The timer takes one of those flat button batteries, which is provided, but what a pain to renew and much more expensive than AA or AAA.
I have to put it in my pocket to be able to hear it.

A little disapointing.

I ordered these timers without reading the description carefully. They are fine, just not what I needed. I wanted hour and minute times; these have minute and seconds times. I'll keep the one I opened since it was my mistake; will return the other.

Not Wanted

It's a wonderful little timer, especially if you're using it for the kitchen or something small. I dropped it from 3 feet up and my first one broke.

Other than that, it was decent. Not fancy at all. There is no stand for the timer, it just has 1 magnet on the back and the battery case.

Just don't drop it!

The item pictured on Walmart's site did not match what was sent to me.  It seems I got a substitution from the same manufacturer (Taylor) but it has the same functionality of what I wanted but slightly smaller LCD screen.  I wanted the exact same product to replace my recently broken one I had for 5 over years.  It was great a little timer and this one is okay but not as legible.

This product did what it said it would do but had a major flaw.  That flaw is the timer's alarm which for the hard of hearing is almost impossible to hear.  Even if you have good hearing it maybe hard to hear.

I purchased 3 of these. Bad idea and a waste of money.

Pros:
A seconds option.
Attractive.

Cons:
Requires a special & hard to find battery ....which does Not last very long.
A $6.00 battery for a 5.00 timer is ridiculous.
Weak magnet.
Low Tone Alarm.
Cheap Materials...One fell off the frig because of its weak magnet. The result it...broke apart.

In my option, the timer is a work house of any kitchen. It should use standard batteries. It should have a strong magnet. The alarm should be heard when I leave the Kitchen. It should be able to fall of the counter, frig or from my hands and be fine. 

I have a Sunbeam. It is wonderful.  I've had it for 13 years. I have drop it and it still works like the day I bought. I have replaced the AAA batteries once every few years. It has a stand in the back too. I like the 5 and 10 warning beeps too.

Please Walmart start carrying the Sunbeam Brand again. It was great!

Aweful.

This is going back to the store. I bought it two days ago and it seems to work well so far, with one exception. The alarm volume is very low. If there is any kind of background noise, like a tv or appliance running, you can not hear the alarm more than three feet away from the timer. The whole point of having a timer is to alert you when the set time is up. This item fails at that task.
