My husband put it together for him and had a hard time getting the lense out, but he got it eventually without breaking it. If you have a future astronomer, scientist or astronaught it is a great investment. 02/21/2013

It's made of cheap plastic and parts which probably could be broken easily. I didn't give it enough of a chance for that to happen before I promptly returned it. That goodness Walmart has an excellent return policy. 02/03/2013
