  • A. Yes, but other users are saying that it has a slow trigger speed. Someone could come in the back door and walk past it before it took a picture. The speed of this camera (how soon it snaps after detection) may not be fast enough to capture a person walking in the laundry room and out unless they are in front of the camera for a few seconds. I've also heard that some IR cameras don't take the pic unless there is heat (from a body) plus motion, both at the same time. Comments on this camera indicate that the target animal or person would have to be within 5 feet of the camera and a person would likely notice it.

  • A. You should be able to since it is motion activated, anything that crosses the cameras path will trigger it.

Great Value - Good Pictures for the $$

Used for easily 4 months with 1 set of batteries (4-AA). Great pictures for the $$. There is a short delay before the 1st picture is taken (1-2 sec.) So if anything runs past it may not catch depending on the picture target area. Night Time pictures are not at the $500 level but do work very well. 3MB picture size does a good job. Obviously can't zoom on a picture as far as a 10MB. Picture files look better than the previews.>> A lot of comments related to bad pictures may be camera positioning. The lens would pickup early/late day direct sun and appear washed out. This can be easily avoided by knowing where the sun will be (or using trees for shadowing) when positioning. Don't be scared of this camera if you're just getting started and looking for a small investment.

Good for the money

I picked one of these up on a trip to the USA and use it in Australia on my property. For the money you cannot go wrong. Remember that you do not want to put this in a field, it's best used on a trail, where the game are going to walk past it at a fair proximity. The night time images are not brilliant (see attached) but it works and has not let me down. Have used it for 3 months now without any problems. Battery life is good also. This camera would be ideal for someone starting out, for use as a second or third camera or on property where your trail cameras are being stolen. Cheers.

This camera does not perform

I have two of these thinking I was going to save some money and get double the camera's. What a mistake. Camera's not take pictures unless the deer is within 5 feet. These are absolutly usless. I sent mine back to manufacturer with a letter of how disappointed I am. All they wanted to know was where was the check for $10.00 each to send them back to me. Please listen to the reviews of people who know what they are talking about and how the products should perform. Primo's Truth is still best buy for the money above the Primo's Truth 35.

Great Camera If You Like To Be Disappointed

I went to walmart and saw this trail cam for $50 each. i always wanted a trail cam and so for $50 each I bought 3. I live in the country in Pennsylvania with deer, black bear, coyotes, opossum, skunk, coon, porcupine, turkey, bobcat ect. I set up one cam in opening in woods with table scrapes full to top in a aluminum turkey roasting pan and a 3lb bucket full of bacon and hamburg grease hanging 7' off ground, 35lbs dry dog food and coyote urine around trail cam about 5' - 10' from bait 1 1/2 month gone by not a single picture and food is gone every time i check the cam. Other cam is in woods along a path coming out of creek with 35lbs dry dog food and coyote urine. Cam is 5'- 10' from bait and urine cam has been there 1 1/2 months and got 2 pics of deer. 3rd trail cam is also in woods behind a pond and a creek. Bait is also 35 lbs dog food, tables scrapes and coyote urine, cam is 5'- 10' from bait. Food is gone every time i check cam. Cam has been there 1 1/2 month and got 4 pics of deer. Cams are junk, highly populated area with coyotes bears bobcats and deer I check the cams weekly or biweekly and very disappointing when there isn't a single picture on any of the cams and there is evidence of something taking the bait. The couple pics it did take where clear so I will give it a plus for taking good pics but don't count on getting if any pics, and there is no setting on it to adjust the sensitivity. I mounted it just like directions said. And there is no trees or tree limbs or anything in the path between the camera and bait. Hear coyotes down in that area of trail cams almost every night for the past 4 years and nothing on cam. Do not buy this product!!!!!! I posted a couple of the very few pics I did get to show the quality of the pictures it takes.

Not so good

Just letting you know up front save up an extra 30 bucks or so and by the Primos Truth Cam 35. I am a first time game camera buyer so I didn't know much about them so I bought this for 50 bucks at my local walmart. As far as being sturdy, weatherproof, easy to operate, and strap that comes with it, cant complain. As far as taking pictures, not so good. The pictures, when you get them, isn't that bad for 50 bucks. The problem is it just doesn't always take a picture. I have tested it, came around and then in front of the camera waved my arms for about a minute and it would finally take the picture, that was about 15 foot from camera. At 5 foot it takes it pretty quick. The picture attached is the best picture it took in two weeks. Now that I have Primos Truth Cam 35 I get 2,450 pictures every 6 days versus 30 in two weeks with Tasco
