Rated 4 out of 5★ by AVRProject Works, but has a major bug This item works well, but has a major glitch that might throw folks into a tizzy. For some reason, at 9600 baud, selecting 2 stop bits corrupts the incoming data. Even if I echo back one character at a time, from a terminal window, it loses framing and receives the bits apparently at a different baud rate. The fix is to obviously stick to one stop bit, and hope you don't need two -- ever.I hav verified that the data is actually being transmitted properly. The glitch is in the receiver.DON'T USE TWO STOP BITS. 02/12/2010
Rated 3 out of 5★ by tgjazz So so Converter worked on the first PC I tried but caused the second to completely go blank and freeze. A rather unexpected occurrence, not what should happen. 04/08/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Bobbz worked great When I switched my OS to win 7 64 bit none of the old converters would work because no one supports the 64 bit software. This converter worked without a hitch after downloading the upgraded drivers. I was back on the air in minutes. 11/06/2010
