This his a standard size SIM card, the micro SIM has the word micro in the product name.

1. When you purchase a Universal SIM Kit you get a NANO SIM card which is the smallest SIM at the moment and the box contains adaptors this is what makes your SIM card available to fit into a MICRO SIM and also your standard large SIM Card.

2. Normally from experience these items normally ship scanned once you place your order the worker at a ware house will usually scan it to make the SIM active I had not trouble activating my SIM Card.

It sure is confusing. I activated today so here are some details:

'T-Mobile Complete SIM Kit' comes with Nano sized SIM + two SIM adapters for nano-to-Micro, and nano-to-Standard size SIM slots. This provides flexibility to use nano sim with any device.

You can get this shipped to you or to a store, and then activate it yourself at home without needing to go to a walmart. Towards the end of the activation the screen shows $30 balance available in your account, and that no addnl money is needed. But for strange reason it still won't let you finish activation without adding more. I added another $30 for next month's service or talk time overage. You can add just $10 (min you can load), or perhaps can find a way to bypass that funding requirement by calling the Tmo activation phone #.

What Size Sim Card do you get - without a choice given?

This kit comes with a month's service card, so buying this kit means you already pay for the first month's service. T-mobile offers the SIM card by itself for $10, but you likely have to buy a service card to activate it once you have it, so this saves the trouble of buying them separately.

This is a 39.88 sim card complete kit. That means the 1st month is included with 30 days of unlimited talk-text-data.

is about a few years old and they (Walmart/T-Mobile) rerun it from time to time to get new Activations. This activation card starter kit has been gone for some time, like they set a limit on how many they sell or have for sell at a time.

Bought a new smartphone, however my old SIM card did not fit. This kit worked perfectly with my new phone and the $30.00 plan works great for me. Called T-mobile and within 15 minutes, my new phone was up and working with my old info.

Great Kit

I have not found a better plan for me. $30 per month for 5GB LTE, no including streaming services. Only 100 minutes, which is more than enough for me since I never use the phone. If there is a better plan for unlimited texts, unlimited LTE, I have not found it.

On-line set up was very easy. The cost of this card is applied to your first month billing, in the form of a credit. Very good deal.

B etter than getting a line or plan  directly on Tmobile. As many others, I would recommend to activate it at a Walmart store, on a TMobile stand on the store.

Already had a T-mobile account  and wanted this plan.  Bought this new SIM card and had no problem calling and switching SIM cards/plans.   Tell the T-mobile agent you're switching to the Walmart plan, because they need the code that is included on the pamphlet in the kit.    The $30 free airtime makes the cost of the kit almost negligible.

I like it a lot , worth it for 30$ . Thank you Walmart and T-mobile for create this temperary sim card for visitor and tourist. But i would like to recommend to develop the system so the buyer can activate the sim card by themselves .

It is useful but hardly to activate.

I already had a $40 per month plan with T-Mobile, but wanted this SIM kit to get the $30 per month plan and save $10 per month.  Activating the SIM card was easy, but needed to call T-Mobile customer service to swap to the cheaper plan.  Overall, it was well worth the purchase price.

Good plan, but activation not quite smooth.

Like many others have mentioned item was not scanned by Walmart before shipping, I bought it online, so I wasn't able to activate it. But since price was right I drove to closest Walmart and after many support calls by Walmart employee was able to return card and buy a new identical card that they scanned in store. Could have saved myself time and shipping charge by going directly to Walmart to purchase card. Once it was scanned it was easy to activate and so far I'm happy with T-mobile service.

Great price tricky to get it to work

Staff were helpful in my buying the correct card as well as a "burner" for emergency purposes as well as some minutes for that card {Straight Talk}.

Unfortunately, I needed the second phone because I needed to call T-Mobile to get the sim card activated.

The need for the phone is that staff are unable to assist getting the T-Mobile card activated.  I put the blame for this onto T-Mobile, NOT Walmart.
