Rated 5 out of 5★ by twini101 Meets expectations It took my husband from 9am-9pm to finish this project. Once all parts are well laid out on the ground. It's not that difficult to put all the pieces together. The reason it took many hours were all the breaks in between and also because there are many pieces to put together. I helped him when he needed a second hand to hold certain pieces up for him to put together but overall it wasn't as bad as we expected. Also, the last part which was putting the monkey bars together required a second person to help. We were glad a friend of his was able to pass by and help him finish that part. We have 6 kids from ages 5 months to 15 years old. They ALL enjoy this set. We are going to be purchasing a baby swing to put in between both swings. I will add that both my husband and i have tried the swings out ourselves and it held up our weight as well. It would be nice if we had our kids energy ; ) 03/22/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by PearlandMommy Great Value - Terrible Instructions It took my mechanically-inclined hubby 2 days to put it together alone. There were a couple of hardware pieces missing which required a short trip to the hardware store. The real trouble was the cryptic, incomplete, and down right wrong instructions. PLEASE read, re-read, and read again the instructions before beginning. Pull out every piece of lumber and hardware and check and double-check before even thinking of starting to build! All in all, the set is nice and my 4 and 6 year olds LOVE it!! We plan on many years of enjoyment out of it!! The swings are comfy and the chains are coated in plastic and feel so good on little hands! And there's plenty of room underneath for playing! Every aspect of play is wonderful, once you get past the agony of assembly! :o) 04/25/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by DavisIII Not a quick install but good ending Unit comes on a 4x8 skid. Be prepared to unband the 5 boxes and haul the heavy boxes, one weights 150 lbs. We used a couple of dollies to roll the boxes to the garage.Take your time and sort all the hardward and wood boards. We wrote the sizes of all the hardware on the bags - saves time later. Also, suggest using painters tape and mark the sizes on the boards and group together the sames sizes too. We did not and had to re-mesaure several times. Also, we drilled holes for all the screws so boards did not split. Takes a littel more time but no damage. Follow the directions and don't skip around.Total assembly time was 50 man hours. 05/31/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by charismasmom VERY NICE playset This is a GREAT playset. It has everything your little one could want and can hold up to 12 kids at a time! Comparable in price sets were smaller with less features. The directions estimate the build time at 5-10 hours. It took two adults with experience in building by a diagram 10 hours. We can't wait to see this set used for years. 05/01/2011
