This float is wonderful. I couldn't ask for anything better. I put my 4 month old in it & she can't sit up on her own yet so she just leaned back & crossed her little feet & was so relaxed. It's made of good material & the shade is wonderful to keep sun off of your baby, especially at this age when she can't wear sunblock. When pulled to the back position, the shade also helped to keep water from splashing her when kids jumped in. Perfect float!!

Took this to the pool with my 5 month old. He could lean back in the seat and still have his head above water. When propped up straight, water came up to just below half his chest. He seemed very comfortable and secure in this float. Very affordable and durable in comparison to other types of floats which seemed flimsy and for the same price. Folds up compact and comes with a carrying mesh. Some people had mentioned difficulty in inflating the inner and outer tubes - the trick is to bite the clear plastic valve just beyond the part sticking out. This widens the one-way valve and allows air to easily flow into the tubes. (Hubby got blue in the face until I showed him how). Great product, I don't regret purchasing it!

Survived 4 Years in FL

I purchased this float when my oldest was only a few months old. I live in FL and spend at least 3 day a week in the pool. This float has survived the last 4 years far better than I could have ever expected. My large 2 year old actually broke the sun shade today by jerking it back and forth. The rest of the float is faded but show no signs of ripping any time soon.

Thinking of buying for my 9 month old for a trip to FL. She'll be 12 - 15 months old when we use it for the summer in NJ. Will it work for both? The description says 12 - 24 but then says 9 months. She's 17 lbs +. Help!

  • A. Your daughter should be fine. I used it for my 9 month-old son, and he's 25 lbs, and he seems to be on the smaller side for the product, but it still holds him up great. I expect he'll use it next summer just as well.

  • A. there are two rings and yes you do have to blow air in them in order for it to float. It is similar to the lounges that are fold up with mesh and has an outer ring that air needs to be blown up in it.

  • A. it is a blow up yourself floaty but there are only 2 rings and do not need much air in them. It is bout as much air as you would have in 2 arm floaties maybe a smidge bit more..

  • A. Yes this has to be inflated. But it wasn't at all difficult. You just have to squeeze the tube as you blow into it so that the air will flow easily into the float.

  • A. Sorry this took so long to answer, you just pull the balls apart that you snapped together to attach the canopy. We had to figure that out too as there isn't instructions. I had to have someone show me how to attach the canopy as she had had something similar before.

  • A. The canopy pole just slides into a shallow hole that does not screw in. The instructions say it cannot be used in winds over 5 MPH. It is easily removeable/insertable.
