It is sweet, with the perfect blend of tomatoes, onions, garlic, fresh cilantro, green pepper, vinegar, spices and lime juice. It does have a hint of jalapeno pepper but not at all hot. Very mild. It is smooth and thick but not too thick. It is soo good you will be tempted to eat it straight out of the container with a spoon! Great on quesadillas, chips and hamburgers. Very versatile in ways to flavor your dishes also. Love It!! 09/05/2012

I don't know what happened, but apparently someone else is making this salsa, or at least the recipes are different.What a shame, it used to be my "go to" salsa - fresh and flavorful & a reason I would specifically shop at Walmart. Now it is a different consistency all together, and lacks flavor. 03/08/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Salsa I am not going to exaggerate as much as the previous person, however, this salsa is pretty legit. Some of the better fresh salsa I have had. Our local fareway used to stock a homemade salsa when I was younger and I have had a hard time finding something as good as that. This is just as good if not better. It legitamately tastes freshly made, great flavor, and is a good consistency. I am impressed and will be buying this one for a long time. 12/17/2012
