I got this antenna from Walmart and I am using it since last 1 month. It was easy to install, no rabbit ears, just keep it anywhere and connect to TV. It gives stunning clarity HD channels. I am getting around 21 channels which includes around 5-6 HD channels like CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX18, IPTV... I wish it could receive VHF signal also. What I did not like about this antenna is that the 4 supporting legs at base of antenna are very weak, 1 leg was already broken when I received this antenna. I fixed that but after a few days another leg got broken, but its base is still stable on 3 legs.

We had a more expensive antennae and the image kept freezing. This one was half the cost, easy to set up and works great all the time.

Set it up in about 2 minutes and had working. We live in rural area so not many channels around here, but was surprised when we got 6 channels. I had an Ariel antenna that I only got three and I had to go out side to turn it to do that. Very impressed with it.

    • If you can point it to the city, you should receive a number of Analog and Digital signals...Does your TV have a digital tuner built in? If not, you will also need a converter box.

    • you will need to see where your local towers are and see if you are in range. being on the bottom floor you will need to elevate the antenna as high as possible and try multiple locations in your residence to find the optimal signal. you will need to rescan your channels each time you move the antenna until you find your best signal

    • Use antennaweb.org to find where the transmitters are located from your home. You need to point the antenna toward the transmitters. It doesn't matter that you are on the first floor. The HDTV signals are UHF from the transmitters and can be blocked in certain cases. It is best if there is nothing big and blocking between you and the transmitters. The nice thing about ordering this antenna from Walmart is that you can easily return it if it doesn't work out.
