Rated 5 out of 5★ by JakeinSeattle This is a money saver! If you have an old tub drain in which the flange is missing the crosspieces (for whatever reason, broken, just old, etc.) this is the tool you need. My tub was probably 50 years old, maybe more and the flange never had cross pieces. The gasket between the tub and drain pipe was worn out and leaking badly! Using the tool probably saved me 1/2 a day and related costs to cut the wall, cut out the pipe and then remove the tub altogether, because there was no access to the tub from below due to some idiot installing the furnace in the basement directly below the bathtub! Anyhow, the only thing I would note is that you don't want to tighten the tool in the drain too tight. I really cranked my tight, and after I got the flange out (which came out easily) I couldn't get the tool out of the flange and had to cut the old flange off with a hacksaw. Also, you may have to tab the tool lighly on the top with a wrench or hammer to get it fully into the drain hole to start. Walmart's $26 price was the lowest I saw anywhere on the Internet, as most other places wanted $45 or more. 06/08/2014

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Nooway Drain key tool worked as advertised. I would have never gotten my old drain out without it. I had to use all my strength plus another wrench "on the end" of the top wrench to get it to move. Putting a big box end over the smaller wrench for more leverage. The only beef I have is that they should have made tool to use box end part of wrench like the big nut. The bottom nut secures the drain tool, and you turn it out with the smaller size wrench on top. I was afraid that my wrench was going to break on me. 05/01/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★ by drainkeyfail didn't work for me I bought this after I broke the cross out of the bottom of the drain. I attempted to try and remove the drain with this drain key for a couple hours before I broke the drain pipe below. The plumber went in behind the tub and replaced the drain pipe. Call the plumber:) 05/02/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by tim1085 Great product Worked just as advertised! Make sure you have the nut super tight so it grabs right away. My drain was corroded and had no cross members left and this thing worked awesome. 05/23/2014
